HOW TO LEAVE THE WHITBREAD PENSION

How to leave the Whitbread Pension Scheme

I would like to leave the Whitbread Pension Scheme

You can leave the Whitbread Pension Scheme if you want to. Leaving the scheme is called opting out. If you want to opt out, you just need to tell us.

If you opt out, no more money will go from your pay into your pension and Whitbread will stop paying in.

If you join the scheme automatically, but you don’t want to stay in, you can opt out straight away. You can also opt out after you’ve been in the scheme for a while.

What happens to the money in your pension if you do opt out depends on how long you’ve been in the scheme. You may be able to get a refund, to move the money to another pension, or leave it where it is until it’s time to retire.

Even if you opt out, you can always opt back in again in the future.
